HOW TO DISARM:
Enter your code into the keypad, if you enter a wrong code, you must wait at least 2 seconds before you try again.
HOW TO RESET:
Hold down 9 key till it beeps.
HOW TO CHANGE USER CODE:
Hold down the 8 key till it beeps. Enter your program code into keypad, the top 3 lights will flash and sounder will pulse. Press B or S key enter user # (1-5) then enter 4 digit code (1-9).
EX: press (B/S) + 1 + four digits - user 1's code. To erase code press B/S plus user # (1-5) to be erased.
EX: press (B/S) + 2 - user 2's code erased. to end program mode press B/S key twice.
TO BYPASS:
Hold down the number 9 until it beeps, then enter the code to arm or press B or S and then zone number to bypass and then enter the code to arm.
FLASHING GREEN LIGHT:
This means a zone is open or in trouble, hold down the number 3 key to display zone then try to close and reset. If unable to restore zone in trouble then press (b or s) key & the number of the zone (1-8) to be bypassed. Hold down the 2 key to display the bypassed zone(s).
Keypad says "P" and making noise:
To clear a "P" from your keypad display and silence the tone: enter your code.
SYSTEM TROUBLE CODES - 3 FLASHING LIGHTS:
If your keypad is flashing numbers, note which ones. If it is flashing lights, note which ones. If it is flashing 3 lights AND numbers at the same time hold down the 9 button for 5 seconds. Then look at the list below to troubleshoot.
1- AC Fail
2- Low battery
3- Communication Fail (You can hold down the 6 to check for dial tone and possibly clear this trouble. If that doesn't work, you need to test a signal through.)
Note:
If there has been a short term or intermittent issue with communication such as "Comm Fail" you can call the central station. put your system on test and intentionally trip the panic to test a signal through.
